Tours and Watersport Charters
The Basics:
- Up to 8 passengers are allowed on the Boat for all Tours/Charters.
- All charters are private and are not mixed with other parties.
- Bring your beverages of choice – Friendly Waves Boat Charters will supply ice-cold bottled water
- A Liability Waiver is required to be signed for each passenger prior to leaving the dock. Under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- A Boat Safety Orientation is required prior to leaving the dock and again prior to engaging in watersports activity.

- Meet up and drop off location: 2160 Main St., Fort Myers Beach.

All-in-One Family Fun Pack
(6 hours) – $1050
Ride on Towable, Swimming, Picnic Lunch, Beach Time/Shelling and Sightseeing during Boat Ride.
- This private tour begins at 9:30 AM from Salty Sam’s Marina in Fort Myers Beach, returns around 3:30 PM and covers up to 50 miles of natural coastal offerings. Our sightseeing route is along the gulf beach shorelines of Estero, Sanibel, Captiva, and North Captiva Islands up to Cayo Costa. During this vast tour package, marine wildlife consisting of various bird species and dolphin in their natural habitat, are plentiful and the normal.
- Watersports activity during the sightseeing trip is available on our 75” X 73” towable ‘Super Mable.’ Great Fun for all ages. You won’t even have to get wet but probably will!
- Anchor at a sparsely settled beach location on one of the islands only accessible by boat. While anchored, watersports activities available include swimming from the boat or beach. Shelling is a popular activity as you explore these island beaches. We also provide one 15′ tandem hybrid kayak inflatable paddleboard, two 11′ hybrid inflatable kayak/paddleboards and a 9.5’ X 7’ platform mat to lounge upon the water or bring onto the beach with you.
- Lunch arrangements are chosen by the charterer and can take place on the boat or beach. Your choice at your own time. Bring your own lunch or we can supply for $15/person from a local deli. You can also choose an island restaurant accessible by boat.
- Our return route will involve sightseeing via Pine Island Sound and San Carlos Bay intercostal waterways.
Morning Family Fun Pack
(4 hours) – $850
Ride on Towable, Swimming & Beach Time/Shelling and Sightseeing during Boat Ride.
- This private tour begins at 8:30 AM from Salty Sam’s Marina, returns around 12:30 PM, and covers up to 40 miles of natural coastal offerings. Our sightseeing route is along the gulf beach shorelines of Estero, Sanibel, Captiva and up to North Captiva Island. During this vast tour package, marine wildlife consisting of various bird species and dolphin in their natural habitat, are plentiful and the normal.
- Watersports activity during the sightseeing trip is available on our 75”X 73” towable ‘Super Mable.

- The same tour as our Morning Family Fun Pack however, this tour begins at 1:00 PM and returns around 5:00 PM.
Sunset Cruise Pack
(3 hours) – $750
Sightseeing Ride on Boat.

The Sunset Cruise Pack is a premium sightseeing tour package that goes beyond Matanzas harbor and Estero Back Bay areas. This sightseeing pack covers 30-40 miles of natural coastal offerings. Our tour begins approximately 2 hours prior to sunset from Salty Sam’s Marina in Matanzas Harbor and heads into the Gulf of Mexico. Weather and wind conditions permitting, we travel along area Gulf Shores/Beaches of the barrier islands of Estero, Sanibel, Captiva, North Captiva and returning via Pine Island Sound and San Carlos Bay intercostal waterways. We have several locations from which to view a stunning Sunset at the end of this sightseeing portion of the journey. We always take time to view our dolphin encounters along these travel routes! We return to the dock approximately an hour after sunset.
